Tommy Morrow, PGM 2020-2021

Shelby Thomas Morrow, Jr. was born as the third child of six children to Shelby and Edna Morrow on the 5th of December 1943 in Elba, Alabama (Coffee County).

Brother Tommy’s education and studies background include Elba High School, University of Alabama, John A. Gupton School of Mortuary Science.

Brother Tommy and Edna Merle Carr united in marriage on September 3, 1983. With Tommy being named after his father, and Edna having the same first name as Tommy’s mother, it has been quite interesting to see their circle of friends trying to keep one of them from being confused with the other.

Brother Tommy is presently enjoying retirement after years in the family retail business and from NAF, Fort Rucker, AL.

These years of retirement have created Tommy with an opportunity to spend much more time in his personal quest for spiritual growth, a more meaningful and deeper relationship with Jesus, The Christ, THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD. Especially meaningful and comfortingly scriptures are found in 2 Tim 2:15, 1 Cor 15:1-4, Eph 2:8-9, and Romans 5:1.

Retirement also affords Tommy with additional time to spend with our Masonic fraternity, having serve as WM, SW, Chaplin, Treasurer, and Secretary of his local lodge. Additionally, he has served the Grand Lodge as District Lecturer, COW and has advanced through the Grand Line.

Other Masonic bodies that Tommy holds membership in are the Shrine, York Rite, and Scottish Rite, which he has the honor of being a 33rd SR. Tommy’s blue lodge affiliation is with Elba #170 and Opp #605.
